About Nahid

I have spent much of my professional life trying to understand why people do what they do.

What drives their ambitions, what holds them back, and how they change.

As a psychotherapist, I work with the emotional and relational challenges people often keep private. As a founder and investor, I understand the demands of making decisions, taking risks, and building something meaningful.

My work brings these perspectives together.

I am interested in the psychology behind leadership, the emotional costs of achievement, the relationships shaping our decisions, and the beliefs influencing how we see ourselves.

Through speaking, executive advisory, writing, and education, I help individuals and organizations better understand the human side of success.

I

Understanding people

Through psychotherapy and teaching: the emotional and relational challenges people often keep private.

II

Understanding ambition

Through building businesses and investing: the demands of risk, uncertainty and decisions that matter.

III

Committing to dignity

Through writing and human rights advocacy: a commitment to human dignity and meaningful change.

Human rights & advocacy

My perspective on identity, belonging, courage, and social change is shaped by both lived experience and advocacy. I experienced displacement and life as a refugee during childhood, and those experiences have stayed with me throughout my personal and professional life.

I have also volunteered in response to the refugee crisis in Greece, working alongside people facing displacement, uncertainty, and loss. These experiences continue to shape how I think about dignity, belonging, resilience, and our responsibility toward one another.
